On behalf of the Foreign Service Institute, Ministry of External Affairs, Republic of India, High Commissioner  Vijai Kumar signed  an MoU with the PNG Department of Foreign Affairs, on the Cooperation in the Field of Diplomatic Training,   in Port Moresby on 19 February 2019.


High Commissioner Vijai Kumar signed an MoU on 17 August 2018 on behalf of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) with the PNG University of Technology, Lae on the establishment of the ICCR Chair of Indian Studies

Following MoUs were signed during the visit of Hon'ble President of India to Papua New Guinea from 27-29 April 2016:

1. Memorandum of Understanding between the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi  andthe Papua New Guinea University of Technology, Independent State of Papua New Guinea.
