OCI Cards in lieu of PIO Card

This is to inform that Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) Cards Scheme has been withdrawn and merged with Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) with effect from 9th January, 2015. All existing PIO Card holders living in Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands are requested to submit their applications for OCI at the High Commission of India, Port Moresby before 30th September, 2018.

The application form can be filled in online only and downloaded from the Website: https://passport.gov.in/oci/

The fee for conversion of PIO Card to OCI Card will be Kina 328 payable through Cheque in favour of ‘High Commission of India’.
