On Oct 14, Mission organized a Consular Camp in Lae City, Morobe Province. High Commr Inbasekar S interacted with diaspora including office-bearers of Lae Indian Association. During the visit, Mission donated NCERT school text books from Grade 1-12 to Busu Secondary School in Lae City.
Mission celebrated 154thbirthday of Mahatma Gandhi, with floral tributes at mission’s auditorium and University of Papua New Guinea, keynote by HC Inbasekar S followed by Ram Dhunby Diaspora children. Concurrently, mission carried out cleaning drive inside Chancery under "Swachhata hi Seva 2023" by HCI officials. Gandhi'sVision of cleanliness, followed in practice.
Mission Celebrated 59th Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Day on Friday, 29th September, 2023; attended by ITEC alumni, who shared capacity building experience in India and savoring diverse Indian culture. HC Inbasekar S. encouraged to avail again for ITEC, ICCR and Sagar Amrut scholarships to help nation building in PNG, Solomon Isls.

High Commission of India held Consular Camp in Lae on Saturday, 26 March 2022. High commissioner interacted with the Indian community and Indian Association in Lae. During the consular camp Indian Passport holders were urged to use Global Rishta Portal for online registration. High Commissioner also met with Honble John Rosso, Minister for Lands and Physical Planning of Independent State of Papua New Guinea. High Commissioner brought to his notice requirement of Indian community in Lae for a piece of land at a reasonable price for construction of Indian community hall and place of worship.
High Commissioner S. Inbasekar met Jiwaka Province Governor Hon. Dr William Tongamp and discussed bilateral cooperation in education sector during his visit to Jiwaka Province on Dec 13, 2021. Hon. Governor took High Commissioner for a visit to Jiwaka Provincial Education Office, Minj, Jiwaka Secondary School, Minj, Jiwaka Golf Club and Christian Leaders Training College in Jiwaka.
