On Oct 14, Mission organized a Consular Camp in Lae City, Morobe Province. High Commr Inbasekar S interacted with diaspora including office-bearers of Lae Indian Association. During the visit, Mission donated NCERT school text books from Grade 1-12 to Busu Secondary School in Lae City.

High Commr Inbasekar S also discussed Grants in Aid with Principal George Noble, Indian national & his staff to address toilet facilities in school. HC Inbasekar S concluded the visit by participating in Diwali Dinner organised by Lae Indian Association where H.E. Luther Wenge, Governor for Morobe, was the Chief Guest who thanked Indian contribution to PNG & Lae. HC thanked Mr Siddha Rameshwar, LIA, and spoke on diaspora's role in promoting bilateral relations.
